Smart ACID is a group for youth ages 14-25 in
Venango (and surrounding) counties who want a
say about how the system provides services and
what services are even provided to youth. All youth
who have had contact with the system are
encouraged to come and give their input.
The Group also functions as a support for the
members, so that self advocacy skills can be
developed when facing a crisis situation without
feeling like we are in it alone.
The Group meets twice a month at Brother Bean in
Seneca, usually with food.

Mission:
Our mission is to facilitate a change in
culture by doing educational outreach, advising
county on changes to youth service systems,
and changing stereotypes by providing an
opportunity for positive youth community
involvement.

Effectively Implemented.
